This adorable drawstring bag is the third place prize for the stitchingpirates Words of Wisdom Contest and the third place winner is Anim-Soul :D (Big Grin)

My only issue with this one is the scissor cover, but it works and that is what matters. I wanted something to cover the sharp points and got it, but this one just would not do what the other two covers had done. I WILL keep working on this idea though as I believe it adds some simple safety measures and fun.

The ADORABLE patterns were created by Magical525, the Stitching Pirate Needleminder was created by JodyS, the scissor cover, super basic needlebook with two John James size 26 needles and biscornu were stitched up by Mattsma and finally the bag was made with Mattsma's fabric combined with fabric from leahvh by leahvh. The story behind the Travel Bags!

I believe it was two years ago and Fusainne was in Prague for a seminar or convention and realized when she was settled in her hotel room that she brought everything she needed to stitch....except a needle.

You might be saying, "How does one forget a needle when one knows one will be stitching?" I ask YOU how does one forget scissors, or floss or the actual project when the rest of everything is there? It happens! I'm pretty sure something similar has happened to all of us at some point so I thought about how to rectify this :D (Big Grin)

Making travel stitchy bags ensure all necessary tools are at hand so all you need to do is toss the travel bag in to your luggage or handbag and off you go. If you happen to pick up a pattern somewhere and want to start...YOU CAN! With confidence, satisfaction and gusto :D (Big Grin)

I'm still perfecting things, but am loving the process as I figure out how to make things and do appreciate all advice or thoughts you may have on how to improve on this wonderful idea.
