Wacky Witches in Stitches Finish

I apologize in advance for the sudden influx of WIPs, but when one is in berserker stitcher mode there is NO TIME to stop and post something!

I tried really hard to replace the called for DMC with Weeks Dye Works and came up with some pretty interesting changes (WDW threads are Weeks Dye Works)

DMC 150 stayed the same
WDW 1316 Mulberry did not change
DMC 166 stayed the same
DMC 310 was changed to WDW Kohl.  Please note: six skeins were used.
DMC 321 was changed to Ladybug.
DMC 414 was changed to Graphite.
DMC 434 was changed to Tiger's Eye.
WDW Moss stayed the same.
DMC 647 was changed to WDW Cocoa.
WDW Pumpkin stayed the same.
DMC 742 was changed to WDW Squash.
DMC 754 was changed to WDW Peach Fuzz.
DMC 762 was changed to WDW Icicle.
DMC 936 stayed the same.
DMC 3341 was changes to WDW Hibiscus.
WDW 1155 Blue Heron stayed the same and just FYI 2 skeins are needed.
WDW 2311 Cyclamen stayed the same and I was almost finished with one skein so beware on that one.
DMC B5200 was changed to WDW Snowflake but I have to say Icicle or Snowflake does quite well here for a little added fun.  Icicle just has a kind of glacial blue variation to it while Snowflake and a pink and blue to it.  Either way, both were fun to work with.

Finished piece was stitched on Wichelt 28 ct Jobelan Evenweave "Dense Fog".

Some pattern changes were made because I'm not a fan of owls and there were two.  I changed the first owl in the tree to a Raven with orange beak and legs...Raven do NOT have orange anything but this is Halloween dang it!  Then I changed the owl on the broom to a black cat with orange eyes.  The mouse in the bakery was tall and skinny and that isn't right, so I made him short and stout.  Additional flosses used in hair were WDW Raspberry and Calypso.  I didn't like the bat in the Disco, so I deleted him and added an extra bit of bling under the green flag...the flags are pretty!

The SAL begins AUGUST 15, 2016.  You don't have to use the chosen pattern. You can use any pattern you like, or have, or want to stitch to stitch along. Updates should be done on each Saturday leading up to Halloween and make sure you put Fusainne or Mattsma in your comment so we know you are with us and can do a group update
