Sean's Blanket by Mattsma Sean's Blanket by Mattsma
This is a queen sized blanket I'm making for ~calthis96 So far I'm five balls in and the length is about 18 inches or so. I am guessing it will take 25 balls to complete :D

I was inspired to do a little showing by =FROdominatrix who submitted a little showing of her own

It's still not completed, I think it's about halfway done but will cover a queen sized bed when done. It is so soft and warm, I love working on it

Sean picked out the yarn and we managed to find several bags from the same dye lot...the lady at the craft store laughed at us!

it was funny, bags of ten falling on me, Sean yelling out THIS IS THE SAME LOT! I'm trying to put the other bags back but I'm too short, Sean saying DON'T MIX MY LOT WITH THE OTHERS. Dang it, still funny!

It's ok. I'm going to be crocheting a set of gloves for the hubby out of alpaca knitting yarn. Not quite as time consuming, but still, a task.

That, and I make chainmail, so who am I to talk? :D

I have yet to even attempt making gloves in any form so I applaud you :D

If you're making it for a woman it's not too bad. Men are harder to fit to, though.

Would you like a link to the basic pattern I'm working from? :D

ooooo, would you mind? I'd love to see something basic. I get confused when I read something that has more than two things going on in it :D

I love it too, it's like a kind of straw texture and then there is the green mixed in for added fun :D

Not at all! It's actually very soft due to the rayon blended in with the wool. I really like it.
