Looks lovely. I've been noticing something though, most people seem to hate backstitch is it strange that I love it? Also finished both my projects, pics to come

I think most people view back stitching as a kind of torture because they want to be done and aren't looking at it as embellishment and accent on a lovely piece. Speaking of back stitch....any good ideas on what kind of floss I should use? Stain? Cotton only? Cotton and metallic? Cotton and my sulky holoshimmer?

I love the back stitching because you get to move on to a different kind of stitch for a change and you're almost finished. As for floss my only theory (that I don't even follow) is to avoid metallic at all cost.

I thought that would be your first bit of advice, I KNOW how you LOVE metallics :giggle: I'm leaning towards using the Rayon/Satin Floss for some shine and a few beads for bling :D

Beads are fun, I think I'm addicted to putting them on biscornu

I know! how can you resist? the biscornu itself is like a jewel and adding beads just adds to the jewel like quality doesn't it?

I'm just about to start another one. A Japanese theme this time from the same website as the Canadian one, and the elephant one. Doesn't call for beads, but you never know. But also thinking the pretty variegated thread I just got would make a great edging
