Description
Magical525 created the gem Ornament of the Month free patterns at our NCCIH website. She made ornaments and garlands with hers. For some insane reason, I chose to go the tiny route which was a challenge!
April gems are Diamond and Cubic Zirconium. I may be a woman but Diamonds are not this girl's best friend even if I do love sparkly things! Because I chose to make my ornaments the way that I did I was not able to honor the beautiful back stitch design that Magical525 has created on her pattern. This really makes me sad as the pattern is so beautiful.
Stitched on 28ct evenweave 1 over 1.
Size is 1.25 inches wide by 1.25 inches tall

You did a grand job with the back stitching! It has the look and feel of what I was aiming for even though you were unable to do it exactly according to the pattern due to the difficulty of working 1 over 1.
